Town of Parker Application System
Welcome to the Town of Parker's Application System. On this page, you will find information on park, field, and court rentals; block parties; and community events.
Park, Field, and Court Rental Requests
Many of the Town's park spaces, fields, shelters, ball fields, and trails may be rented to host events, available for public drop in, and other rental use. To reserve your next private party or for other group gathering needs, complete the Park, Field and Courts Rental Request.
Event Permit Types
To ensure events are safe, well-coordinated, and appropriate for their setting, the Town offers two primary event permit types: Block Party Permits and Community Event Permits. The right permit depends on the size, location, and impact of your event.
Community Event staff and this online application process will guide you through the planning and permitting requirements that need to be met to ensure a safe and successful event.
Depending on the details of your event, you may be working with several different Town staff to obtain the required approvals. Alaina Bobo, the Town's Events Coordinator will be your main point of contact through the process
Block Party Permit
A Block Party Permit is intended for small, neighborhood-based gatherings that take place on residential streets. This permit is required for events that include:
- Closure of a residential street
- Neighborhood bike or walking parades (10 or more participants)
- Horse or carriage rides within a neighborhood
Please note: This permit does not apply to park displays (such as menorahs or nativity scenes). For those, please contact Town staff directly.
Applications must be submitted at least 45 days in advance
Community Event Permit
A Community Event Permit is required for larger-scale events that have a broader public impact or take place in shared/public spaces. This permit is required for events that involve:
- Closure of a public road
- Alcohol on public property
- Outdoor events with 100 or more people on public property
- Outdoor events with 1,000 or more people on private property
These events typically require additional planning, coordination, and safety measures due to their size and scope.
Applications must be submitted at least 60 days in advance
